Shanghai Pudong International Airport is located in New Region of Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is a 4F class civil airport about 30 kilometers from the city center. It is a the largest hub airport in East China, portal airport and international air cargo hub in East China.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport was built in 1999. It has two terminal buildings and three cargo areas, covering an area of 824,000 square meters, with 218 aircraft parking seats, of which 135 are civil aircraft seats. There are four runways, 2 runways of 3,800meters, 1 runway of 3,400meters and 1 runway of 4,000meters respectively. At present, the annual passenger throughput of Pudong Airport has exceeded 70 million passengers, the annual cargo and postal throughput has exceeded 4 million tons, and 297 navigation points of 47 countries and regions in the world have been connected.
Beijing Jinghang An Airport Engineering Co., Ltd. undertook the first to fourth runway navigation lighting project, Apron lighting project and perimeter security project, and won the "National Silver Quality Award", "China Municipal Engineering Gold Cup Award", "Shanghai Municipal Engineering Gold Cup Award" and other respectful honors.
